Local App Data
AppTidy scans file paths, app bundle metadata, sizes, and related cleanup evidence on your Mac. This data is used to show scan results and cleanup history inside the app.
No Cloud Account Required
AppTidy does not require sign-in for the core uninstall flow. Scan results and cleanup history are stored locally on your Mac. AppTidy does not collect analytics or diagnostics.
Full Disk Access
Full Disk Access lets AppTidy inspect protected user data locations when you grant permission in macOS System Settings. It does not give AppTidy a cloud connection and it does not bypass administrator approval for root-owned apps.
Website Logs
Like most websites, app-tidy.com may receive standard hosting logs such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and request time. These logs are used for security, delivery, and basic site reliability.
